Eligibility
Legally blind or visually impaired and attending or accepted to an accredited training school or institution of higher learning. Students pursuing degrees in the science, technology or business fields are especially encouraged to apply.

Private, non-profit, locally governed agency providing services to people of all ages with sustained and severe vision loss to help them attain or maintain personal and economic independence. Rehabilitation and employment services include: on-site low vision clinic low vision center for comprehensive low vision exams and to try out, learn about and receive prescribed vision aids and opportunity to try out adaptive technology, such as Global Positioning Systems (GPS) devices, hand-held magnifiers, refreshable Braille notepads and keyboards and portable Closed Circuit TVs (CCTVs). on-site retail store with accessible aids and devices to help independent living
