Volunteers who serve as drivers to assist in brining older adults and individuals who are vision impaired to medical appointments. gn up here to serve as a volunteer driver and experience the joys of helping your neighbors in need. To serve as a TRA volunteer, you need to have a valid driver’s license, NYS auto registration card, NYS minimum auto insurance, be aged 21+, own a dependable vehicle, and be fully COVID-19 vaccinated with boosters. The TRA call center provides information and referrals to ride services as well as other services for older adults and adults with disabilities in the Mid-Hudson Valley.
