TROY REHABILITATION AND IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (TRIP)

Troy Rehab Improvement Program (TRIP), formerly the Rensselaer County Community Housing Resource Board, is a not-for-profit Rural Preservation Company serving all of Rensselaer County outside of the City of Troy. Currently TRIP provides programming in the following areas: housing counseling services, minor home repair, home repair, financial literacy, matched savings programs, and down payment and closing cost assistance. TRIP offers housing counseling services free of several areas, including, purchase, default, foreclosure prevention and mortgage counseling. TRIP offers down-payment and closing cost assistance for home purchase in Rensselaer County (excluding the City of Troy).
