No cost tax preparation services offered at the Tompkins County Public Library 2026 appointments start on 2/3 and 2-1-1 will begin scheduling on Monday 1/26Two tiered option for assistance:1. Traditional Tax preparation- Assistance for more complex taxes, assistance for individuals who are not comfortable using web based programs- Income limit $67K per household2. DIY Taxes with Assistance Available - Complete your own taxes at the VITA site, trained preparer available to answer questions and review returns, best for those with fairly simple returns but might have questions, income limit $89K per householdITHACA COLLEGE VITA Info- contact is Kari Smoker [email protected] call/text 585-230-6663.-this is mainly for individuals who are not US citizens/permanent residents
