Military service members and their loved ones can chat online at MilitaryCrisisLine.net, text 838255, or dial 988 and press 1 if calling from Northcom. Description
free, confidential, nationwide resource, available 24/7, that connects Veterans in crisis and their loved ones with specially trained crisis responders. Veterans don't have to be enrolled in VA benefits or health care to connect with crisis support. Veterans Crisis Line responder will help veterans get through the crisis and then connect them with the services, either from a local VA medical center or elsewhere in the community. After, a local suicide prevention coordinator (SPC) will reach out the next business day.
