Description

Provides trained, on-call nurses to hospitals, whenever rape and sexual assault victims arrive for medical attention. Nurses provide compassionate treatment, evidence collection, education, and counseling.

Provides assistance, through free services, to all victims of violent crimes with counseling, filing for NYS Crime Victims compensation and issuance of emergency awards, assist with court process (information, advocacy and accompaniment), help with transportation, safety, and other needs. Special programs for victims of rape, elder abuse, domestic violence, and families and friends of homicide victims.
