Description
Participates in all phases of emergency management including hurricane preparedness, hazardous materials mitigation, and any and all natural or man-made disasters that affect the town. It is part of FEMA Hurricane Preparedness Program, and in times of emergency, fully integrates with federal, state and county agencies in providing disaster relief, emergency evacuation and housing and transportation for dislocated residents.
