The LCA is an all volunteer organization dedicated to serving the Latino community of Tompkins County by providing a platform for its social, cultural, education and civic expression.Our mission is to foster a united Latino community, strengthen Latino identity, and promote solidarity, cultural pride and engagement.In the course of the year, we organize, sponsor, co-sponsor or participate in programs and activities, including a float for Ithaca Parade, a 5 de Mayo celebration, a summer picnic in Stewart Park, art shows, a film series and other programs for Latino Heritage Month, a Da de Muertos celebration as well as public talks and civic events in different venues. Look up our new website in early 2017!
