Dedicated to the ethical treatment of psittacines (parrots) in captivity as well as to their preservation in the wild. Provides information and assistance to all parrot owners regarding proper nutrition, handling and the routine maintenance of psittacines (parrots). Also seek to encourage the advancement of avian medical research, captive breeding programs and informational services. Assists in the adoption of parrots. Meetings are held the first Friday of the month at Touch of Italy, 355 Broadway, Amityville.
