Sample course offerings include: Personal and Family Health; Community Health; Biomedical Ethics; Psychology of the Exceptional Child; Abnormal Psychology or Perspectives on People with Disabilities; Applied Behavior Analysis: Field Experience I; Introduction to Developmental Disabilities; Enhanced Composition I; Composition I; General Psychology I; Infant and Toddlers; Adolescent Psychology; Child Development or Lifespan Human Development; Personal and Family Health; Community Health; Biomedical Ethics and Psychology of the Exceptional Child. Nassau Community College is the largest single-campus community college in the state of New York. On average Nassau Community serves 20,000 day and evening students in 70 fields of study and another 10,000 individuals participated in continuing and professional studies each year. The college offers hundreds of day, evening, weekend and online/off campus (distance ed) courses in nearly 80 fields of study; Three types of degrees (AA, AS and AAS) and other special certificate programs and more than 300 noncredit, lifelong-learning (continuing education) courses.
