DEXTER DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS | VILLAGE OF DEXTER

Maintains all town roads, including paving and repair, snow removal, street sweeping, and signage in the Village of Dexter. Picks up residential brush and leaves on the Third Saturday of May and September as well as provides waste management information for Village of Dexter residents. Responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating the system of aqueducts, reservoirs, channels, pipelines, mains, laterals, curb boxes, and pumping and purifying equipment by which the community's water supply is obtained, treated, stored, and distributed to consumers in the Village of Dexter. Responsible for the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of the pipes, drains, and manholes that constitute the sewage collection system which transports liquid waste to treatment facilities.
