Service area

Support services for basic needs and advocacy to low income residents. Operates food pantry that is open on the third Wednesday of each month 10am-2pm. Offers afterschool program for children 6 to 13 years of age. Open to Roosevelt/Freeport School District residents. We offer free Martial Arts Program for 6 year olds and older for those who qualify, a Summer Youth Program, and Youth Council Program. Houses a Youth Empowerment Career Training Initiative for ages 14-21 (YECTI).

Also offers MLK Scholarship Program, Displaced Homemakers Program, Job Readiness/Job Placement, Summer Youth Programs, Head Start Child Development, Downstate New York Healthy Start Program, College Tours to Historically Black Colleges.
