If you believe a child is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local police department.Takes telephone calls alleging child abuse or maltreatment within New York State and: relays information from calls to the appropriate local child protective agency for investigation monitors the agency's response identifies prior child abuse or maltreatment reportsFor child abuse, neglect and maltreatment committed by someone outside the family or a relative not living in the same home: contact local police.For information on reporting suspected child abuse, go to http://ocfs.ny.gov/ohrd/ccg/.
