As a civic organization the mission is to promote and to improve the quality of life in the Central Islip community. Programs and activities include: build and manage affordable housing for families and seniors provide educational workshops for children and adults emergency food (includes organic vegetables from on-site garden in season) provides limited free clothing conducts free counseling for family budgeting and homebuying run crime control, code enforcement, and beautification programs.
