Empower individuals and families so that they can make the right decisions concerning issues effecting their life by connecting and accompanying individuals to service providers. They offer one-on-one mutual support, benefits advice, wellness recovery action planning, enabling individuals to make informed decisions on their own, assists in finding community resources. Help in understanding information regarding State Education Laws, mental health laws, and school district policies to be sure that families are being treated in accordance with the law and/or policy.

Community Connections of Franklin County provides the following services: Wellness recovery action planning, Education, Peer warm-line, Veteran Assistance Employment transition training program, Home & Community Based Peer Waiver Services, Peer-Supported Recovery Training, Anger Management Classes, Franklin County Suicide Prevention Coalition Co-Chair agency, Mental health first aid training, QPR suicide prevention training, Rescued Treasures (second-hand store), Barnabas House/Transitional Homeless Shelter for adults, Advocacy, Mutual Support Social Security Benefit Advisement, Health Home Care Management, Ruth House (Woman’s & Children’s homeless transitional shelter), Tupper Lake Outreach & Recovery Center.
