Eligibility

To be eligible for the Residential Repair Program one must be a Smithtown resident 60 years and older. Eligibility for the SHCMP Program one must be a Smithtown Resident, 62 and over and meet income guidelines.

Offers two programs for low-income senior citizens that includes minor home repairs such as handicap ramps, leaky faucets, caulking, window repair, hand rails, grab bars, weatherization, crime prevention, gutter cleaning, etc. Call for a list of types of repairs provided and to schedule an appointment.
