- Implements programs of research, education, and advocacy related to lupus. * Offers a National Resource Center on Lupus with up-to-date resources and information. * Offers health education specialists to answer questions and support people with Lupus. Services are provided in English and Spanish. * Hosts The Expert Series podcast featuring empowering conversations with leading lupus experts. * Provides a free online self-management program named "SELF" that is tailored to support people with lupus in managing symptoms, stress, medications and working with their health care team. * Administers "Take Charge", a weekly email series designed to give people tips and resources. * Provides LupusConnectT as an online peer support community. * Leads educational series called "Lupus & You: Answers. Advocacy. Action." where people with lupus, their family and friends have the opportunity learn about the latest in lupus research and helpful resources for managing the disease. * Offers health education specialists are trained to provide people affected by lupus with free non-medical support, disease education, information and helpful resources.
