Description

Offers residential services for people with learning and developmental disabilities to be able to receive supervision and support in community-based apartments. The program is designed to offer people patterns of daily living which enhance their growth to the maximum level of independence. Serves adults ages 18+ who reside in Nassau and Suffolk Counties who have learning and/or developmental disabilities. Call to schedule an intake appointment.

Provides services to children and adults with developmental and learning disabilities and their families. Services for adults include 39 group homes, 39 supervised apartments, recreation, supported employment, day programs and family support. Also provides pre-school services for children ages 3-5 years. ACLD provides occupational speech and physical therapies . Affiliated with Northwell Health.
