* The Attorney for the Child (AFC) program at the Legal Aid Society of Rochester represents children in Monroe County Family Court. These attorneys, formerly known as Law Guardians, are appointed by the court to provide free legal representation to children in a variety of cases, including: Abuse. Custody. Foster Care. Juvenile Delinquency. Person In Need Of Supervision (PINS).
