Helps people get answers to questions about supports and services for individuals with developmental disabilities in New York State. Also takes complaints of alleged misconduct, fraud, waste and abuse in the OPWDD service system. Requests for information will be referred to someone who will return the call. Representatives available in English and Spanish speaking or translation services available for other languages.

NEW YORK STATE OFFICE FOR PEOPLE WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES (OPWDD)
Responsible for coordinating services for New Yorkers with developmental disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and other neurological impairments. Provides services directly and through a network of approximately nonprofit and state-run agencies.
