Functional Vision Training is provided to visually impaired children from birth to five years of age. Training is in the child's home or his/her preschool program. This training helps a visually impaired child function more independently and lays the basis for a more independent adult in the future.

Provides blind and severely visually impaired people with rehabilitation, counseling, and transportation services to enable them to live in their own homes and be active members of their community. Individuals served range in age from infancy to the elderly. Children from birth to five years old receive functional vision training to maximize limited vision and other senses.
