Eligibility

Emergency responders, recovery and cleanup workers and volunteers who helped after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the passenger-jet crash site near Shanksville, PA. Also residents, students and people who worked in New York City disaster area on 9/11 and for a time afterwards, and visitors who were there on 9/11. Must provide copies of documents that show you were present and/or worked at the World Trade Center site(s). Check website for examples of documents useful for your application.

Provides medical testing and care for specific symptoms and illnesses related to exposure at the disaster sites. The services are provided by clinics and hospitals that have expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of 9/11 related health conditions.
