Description
HOTLINE OPERATORS: Must commit to at least one 4-hour shift per week, after 5pm weekdays or any time weekends. Calls are forwarded to volunteer's home. Extensive training required. SHELTER AIDES: Provide creative playtime for children, assist staff with shelter chores, sort donations, other tasks as needed. SPEAKERS BUREAU: Represent the LIADV at health fairs and fundraising activities/events, as well as make educational presentations to community groups. OFFICE ASSISTANTS: Answer phones, help with mailings, filing, data entry. STUDENT INTERNSHIPS: Number of positions open and departments may vary per semester. Please inquire within if interested.
