Offers community, home, school or site-based services to Town of Hempstead residents with autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, ages 5 to adult. Aims to support participants in living a full life by addressing individuals' challenges while promoting inclusion and participation in the Port Washington community. Offers daily, and after-school programs aimed at addressing participants' educational, behavioral and social needs. Provides supervision, parent and staff training, and consultation for school-aged students, ages 5 and older. Offers two summer sessions featuring a variety of programs focusing on fitness, wellness and sports, independent living skills, communication and social skills, prevocational guidance, work discovery courses and habilitation services (HCBS Waiver Services/OPWDD). Offers a Speakers Bureau. Serves as a Provide agency for the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities ACCES_VR and local school districts.
