Because all types of institutions create and maintain records, there are career opportunities for both archivists and records managers in a variety of settings, including corporations, government agencies, libraries of all types, museums, historical societies, and non-profit organizations and associations. The Certificate program covers content areas included in certification examinations administered by the Academy of Certified Archivists (ACA) and the Institute of Certified Management (ICRM).
