MHA's Drop-In program offers a stigma-free environment for individuals who have experienced or are currently living with mental health challenges. It's a place where you can connect, socialize, and learn new tools and skills in a safe, welcoming, and restorative setting. Whether you're looking to participate in an activity, get help navigating community services and resources, and build friendships, our Drop-In space is available for everyone.What makes this program unique is that it's led by our peer specialists-individuals who have their own lived experiences with mental health challenges. They bring understanding, compassion, and real-world insights.Snacks and coffee provided.

The Mental Health Association in Tompkins County (MHATC) is committed to developing and supporting the active involvement of ordinary people (including providers, family members and recipients of mental health services) in all aspects of mental health. These include the definition of needs, the promotion of community, and the provision of services. It also supports the human and civil rights of people who use mental health services, and will educate the community on all perspectives concerning mental health and mental health disabilities. .
