Offers the Learning Institute thru the Hofstra University Summer Camps program. At Hofstra University Summer Learning Programs, kids are inspired to be creative and reach their academic potential. With a wide range of programs to meet the varied interests and educational needs of students, these provide quality and fun-filled summer camp experiences that enable campers to develop personally and socially, learning teamwork and building self-esteem through interaction with fellow campers. Campers can choose from a number of unforgettable Learning Institute Camps, and can participate for two, four, or seven weeks. Campers spend one-half of each day participating in their area of specialization and the other half in planned recreational activities, including instructional swimming in our Olympic-sized pool. Campers can choose: 3D Printing and Animation; Fashion Design; Gifted Camp; Pokémon Master Makers; REACH Program; Reading and Writing Learning Clinic; Roblox Game Development; Robotics Programs; Video Game Design Programs; Virtual Reality Creation Zone; Esports Gaming and Streaming; Minecraft Camps; Adventure Education; Computer Coding; Dungeons and Dragons Workshop; Snapchat Augmented Reality; Sports Broadcasting; Train Creation Station and YouTube Video Production. Offers a broad range of courses, certificates, lectures and events to the Long Island and surrounding communities. Programs are designed for diverse audiences: adult and youth, professional and novice. Continuing education offers educational opportunities for adults whether you’re interested in updating your skills, begin a new career or start your own business, you’re sure to find something that captures your interest. Summer Camps, Youth and Precollegiate Programs are offered to children in various areas of interest and sports. Courses are offered on-site, in a traditional online format, and through Zoom.
