Income-eligible homeowners and renters in Broome anf Tioga Counties. If household has member who receives SSI, Public Assistance, SNAP or HEAP, household automatically eligible for weatherization services.

Description

Provides assistance to Broome and Tioga Counties.No heat situation: Furnace has had to have been in working condition in last year. Can not do repairs or replacement on an emergency basis. Follows all processes put in place by HCR. (application, audit, then can go into the home if the home and applicant eligible) The furnace repairs/replacement has to a part of a broader work scope.Must have lived in home for one year whether a rental or own home. If they receive HEAP or SNAP then they are categorically eligible.
