- Assists individuals in identifying and implementing steps that prevent repeated emergencies and develop plans for self-sufficiency. Temporary basic needs referrals to external partners. DHS advocacy as needed. Housing guidance and advocacy. Placement depends on availability and financial status. Assist in eliminating barriers to employment. Referrals to health insurance representatives. Referrals to Financial Literacy to improve self-sufficiency. Non-legal document completion assistance on a case-by-case basis. Assist in eliminating barriers to educational opportunities.
