Provides information and referral, benefits advocacy advisement, Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP), peer and personal counseling, housing information and referral, adaptive equipment loan, transportation, and general advocacy to the disabled population in Nassau County. Also provides a comprehensive resource directory of goods and services available in Nassau County for people with disabilities. Provides limited transportation service (wheelchair accessible van), ADA consultants, and technical assistance to business organizations and individuals.
