- Provides post-adoption and family support services to adoptive families or families who have been granted legal guardianship of a child. Includes: Information and assistance with referral to services, including 24/7 crisis management Individual advocacy and support Monthly support groups and family-focused social/recreational programs Parent education groups, trauma-informed trainings, and family-oriented workshops Provided in community locations including libraries, community recreation centers, and other family-friendly sites Adoption competency training for parents and professionals Will meet with families in the community, in their homes, and at Hillside locations
