Description
Exists to ensure equal opportunity in employment, housing, public accommodation, education and credit. Enforces the State's Human Rights Law by investigating, prosecuting, and resolving individual, group and Division initiated complaints of illegal discrimination. Educates the public to prevent and eliminate discrimination and promote awareness of the Human Rights Law. Develops legislation and policy to further the Division's role in enforcing the Law. This location in Hauppauge is a satellite office and service is by appointment. Serves Suffolk County Residents.
