Offers a centralized referral system and helps connect youth and their families to supports, services, and programs in Nassau County. Nassau County’s Office of Mental Health provides several In-Home programs for children diagnosed with a Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). These services are provided through CSPOA. All CSPOA programs are voluntary. Some examples of in-home services available include care coordination, family support, skill building, respite, pre-vocational training, and links to other community supports. All services are provided in the home or community as per family preference. Program serves youths 5 years to 21 years. If you are interested in referring a youth to CSPOA please contact the Office for specific information.
