Provides a variety of services to protect local residents, including a bike patrol unit which uses special uniforms and equipment that enable them to ride in a variety of weather conditions and terrain. This gives greater accessibility to the parks, trails and walkways, which gives opportunity to be more proactive, and has enhanced the personal contact and interaction with village residents and businesses.
