They provide information to businesses and workers to help them access and better understand our workforce development system. It also presents information, technical assistance, resources and funding opportunities to help local workforce investment area staff, one-stop partners and other workforce professionals build a better workforce development system. The NYSDOL will help you whether you have lost your job or are looking for your next promotion. One-Stop Career Centers offer staff and services, including resume writing, interview techniques, apprenticeship opportunities, training grants, search our on-line job listing or attend a job fair. The NYSDOL offer services to the disabled, veterans, displaced homemakers, youth and more. The office helps with the work force laborâs Safety and Health. The Division of Safety and Health (DOSH) is one of two Divisions within the Worker Protection Bureau, where protecting New Yorkâs workforce is the number one priority.
