Provides patrol and other police services to the Town of Babylon. The officers of the First Precinct are assigned to a wide variety of tasks including community policing, motor patrol, gang enforcement, school resource officers, and quality of life enhancement. Our COPE and CSU officers work on quality of life issues ranging from traffic problems to drug complaints. The precinct commanding officer hosts precinct wide community meetings. At the meeting, you will be provided with crime stats for each community served by the precinct. Community members are also invited to express their concerns at the meeting.
