For 50 years OAR has supported and advocated for individuals in Tompkins County who have been impacted by the Criminal Justice system. We offer a wide variety of services including 3 supportive housing programs.For individuals who meet the criteria interest free bail loans up to $2000 are offeredDoes not provide bail for Felonies, Warrants , Parole/probations violations, or Criminal Contempt Charges.

OAR serves people who have been involved in the criminal justice system. They help restore and maintain their clients inclusion in the community. In an effort to reduce recidivism they offer assistance with services such as : Meeting basic needs including food, clothing and social support Help obtain ID such as DMV non driver ID's and birth certificates. Applications for housing, employment, and financial assistance Provide safe affordable transitional housing Outreach to the encampments Referrals for medical and mental health College Initiative Upstate (CIU) Partnerships with numerous community organizations
