2026- Lifelong will start scheduling tax appointments for seniors 60+ and returning clients on 1/5/2026. Taxpayers under 60 that meet the income guidelines can begin calling for appointments on 2/2. The mission of Lifelong is to enhance the lives of people over 50 in Tompkins County. Services provided:-free Medicare Counseling-free Tax Preparation-lifelong learning classes from astronomy to yoga-exercise classes from Strength Training to Tai Chi-Social groups, including Bridge, Scrabble, Men's Saturday am group, book clubs, etc.Currently offering in-person, hybrid and virtual opportunities in light of the COVID pandemic.Masks must be worn at the present time, regardless of vaccination status.
