WESTCHESTER LIBRARY SYSTEM
A state-chartered cooperative system of 38 public libraries that are financed locally and governed by separate Boards. WLS provides technology infrastructure that helps build capacity to support more efficient and cost-effective library services. The goal is to help people discover opportunities - through books, digital resources, and cultural programming - as well as through our work to foster workforce and youth development, support the interests and needs of a thriving senior population, aid underserved populations, and act as a laboratory for innovative community enrichment projects.
