Eligibility
Men 18 years or older who admit to hurtful behavior in relationships. Participants may be court mandated or self-referred. Men 17 years old may enter the program with approval and involvement of parent/guardian.

Fees
Sliding fee scale ranges from $25-$75 per class, based off of take-home pay, deductions offered for children who he is financially responsible for. Indigent rate offered for men on Medicare/Medicaid.
Service area
Suffolk County, NY
Provides group educational sessions for men who are hurtful, controlling, abusive, and/or violent in relationships. SHARP consists of 32 class sessions, which include a six session assessment. Classes include educational discussions and individual activities that create opportunities for change toward respectful and healthy behavior, and work to end hurtful, abusive and violent behavior. Appointment Required. Classes offered in Riverhead and Hauppauge locations. Day and evening classes available. Call for details.

Provides safety, shelter and support for victims of domestic abuse or sexual assault and aims to break the cycle of family violence. Provides supportive and residential services to individuals and families who are in abusive domestic relationships or have been a victim.
