Works to create and continue permanently a fund known as the United Way, to be collected cooperatively through voluntary subscriptions, as well as by gifts, bequests, and other legal means, which funds shall be periodically disbursed by the corporation, pursuant to its By-laws, for the maintenance of health, educational, recreational, welfare and charitable services. No direct services are offered through this agency.
