The Vial of Life Program is a free program designed for seniors and individuals with serious medical conditions to provide pertinent medical information to emergency personnel who respond to home emergencies. A Vial of Life contains the medical history needed by the responding emergency personnel, such as existing medical conditions, allergies and medications currently being taken. Vial of Life participants complete a Medical Information Form that is then placed on the refrigerator. A Vial of Life decal is then placed on the front door in plain view for emergency personnel to alert them that medical information is located inside the home.
