** During the COVID pandemic, the EOC switchboard is staffed part time from 7:30am - 1pm Monday - Friday with no voicemail option. If you are unable to reach a staff member, please call back during the hours indicated. ** Offers job readiness skills, job search skills, interview techniques, computer training, career counseling, resume writing skills, business etiquette and public speaking skills.

Funds Community Action Programs in Freeport, Glen Cove, Hempstead, Port Washington, Rockville Centre, Lakeview, Roosevelt. Also offers MLK Scholarship Program, Displaced Homemakers Program, Job Readiness/Job Placement, Summer Youth Programs, Head Start Child Development, Downstate New York Healthy Start Program, College Tours to Historically Black Colleges.
