Eligibility

Victims of all types of crime are available to anyone who lives, works, worships, goes to school, volunteers, or had a crime committed against them in Dutchess County. Family members and friends of victims are also eligible for services.

The Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVSS) provides assistance to victims of all types of crime. Services include 24 hour hotline, rape crisis accompaniment, rape crisis services, advocacy, counseling, support groups, and forensic nursing services for women, men, and children. CVSS advocates are now available by chat to offer information, advocacy, and support to individuals who have been impacted by violence.
