Description

Provides an employment program for recipients of Public Assistance. Offers case management, referrals to services, and support services such as child care and transportation. (Transportation and child care are provided during the program.)

Employable recipients are engaged in full-time activities, with options such as structured job search, job seeking and retention workshops, educational and/or vocational training, unpaid work experience, job placement, and subsidized employment. Those who are exempt are assisted with accessing and maintaining treatment with the goal of rehabilitation or eligibility for SSI.
