Administers the WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014) programs for adults, dislocated workers ad youth for the Town of Hempstead and the City of Long Beach Local Workforce Development Board (LWDA). Works in partnership with the HempsteadWorks One-Stop System and Career Center to provide job training, job placement and foster local economic development. Provides staff to the Town of Hempstead Workforce Development Board and Youth Standing Committee.
