Crews within each county are responsible for the day-to-day road maintenance and operation of the state roadways within their jurisdiction, including repairing pot holes. Their work includes doing minor road or bridge repairs, removing snow/ice, installing, repairing and replacing signs and traffic lights, repairing guide rail, and mowing grass. The Department also maintains a pot hole helpline for drivers to report pot holes and possible car damage due to the pot holes.
