Legal services can be provided in areas of: housing evictions condition problems utility issues public/subsidized housing issues foreclosures public benefits Medicaid Social Security SSI unemployment benefits community groups other non-criminal casesMay also provide legal services for bankruptcy in select cases. For instance, where client owns home and is threatened with foreclosure, and frozen bank accounts.Pro bono divorce program for individuals with uncontested divorces where parties have been apart for more than oneyear. Plaintiff must live in Chemung County; support and custody orders must be in place.
