Eligibility

Pregnant, breastfeeding, and post-partum women, as well as women who have an infant or child under 5 years old; must meet income guidelines. Child must have a doctor's physical and blood sample to check his/her iron level; physicals can be conducted at the WIC office free of charge. Service Area: Genesee County.

Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm every 1st & 3rd Thursday, 8am-6:30pm.

Description

Provides supplemental food program for pregnant women, infants, and children under age 5. Approved clients will receive an EBT food package benefit card each month to purchase formula, milk, eggs, cheese, juice, and nutritious foods. Offers counseling, referrals, nutritional meetings, and breastfeeding counseling and support. Satellite Offices: Calvary Baptist Church, 8703 Lake Street Road, Le Roy, NY 14482: 3rd Wednesday of every month. St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1355 West Avenue, Medina, NY 14103: 2nd & 4th Wednesday of every month. Tonawanda Indian Reservation, 372 Bloomingdale Road, Akron, NY 14001: 1st Wednesday of January, April, July, and October.
