MARRIAGE LICENSES (city clerk's office or town clerks): both parties must apply in person between 8:30 am and 4 pm Monday through Friday with each bring two forms of identification, proof of age* and proof of identity** (one from each category below) copies of the most recent divorce paperwork, if not the first marriage, $40 marriage license fee 24-hour waiting period between license issuance and the ceremony license is valid for 60 days*Acceptable forms of proof of age: original birth certificate, original baptismal record, original naturalization record or census record.**Acceptable forms of proof of identity: driver's license, passport, employment picture i.d., immigration record.Trash and/or Yard Waste Collection/TagsTrash is picked up at City residences every week. Recycling is picked up every other week on the same day as trash. Yard Waste is also picked up every other week, opposite from the recycling pickup. Yard Waste is picked up seasonally, generally April 1 - October 31.
